Look at me..what do you see?

Miss Plain Jane is what they call me

You see I dress in a black from head to toe

I rarely get a double take from an regular joe

never thought of as pretty just an average lady, you see

the world seems to have this odd perception of beauty if she got long

hair and a big ol booty..lol

You see from the age of 10 I've never shown much skin

even resented wearing a swimsuit didnt want to expose myself

so that you could compose yourself and just FOCUS,FOCUS,FOCUS

Focus on the mental and not the physical, focus on the conversation and not the curves

Dont do much with my hair always a simple wrap, maybe thats why guys dont give me much rap?

She's to plain, she's to simple she's not enticing enough

the only thing they be looking for is a small dosage of lust..

I dont speak much you might mistake it for anti social dont

get it twisted i'll talk your ear off
but I feel like filling empty spaces with useless words is a waste of my day

I'm not all in your face I dont cop attitudes
I sit back and observe the surroundings just take it all in

I walk with integrity morals & goals

I look past the physical and focus on souls,

I yearn to be a giver and help anyway that I can..always willing to give a helping hand

I worship this GOD whom I've never seen

Though I cant feel him in the physical

I STILL BELIEVE, I STILL BELIEVE, I STILL BELIEVE

I Still believe he sent his one & only son to save wretch like you & me

I look to Him in all that I do, I turned my life around and stepped into the light

and knew there was no other way but to live right

I live to live Virtuously and this you will see

I am a Child of God and that's all I ever wanted to be

and that right there is anything but miss plain jane to me......
